Remarks - All prices are per group. The prices are updated as of April 1, 2024 Japan Time and quoted in Japanese Yen. Our proposals on or before March 31, 2023 are all effective until the tour days. A 10% local tax and public transportation expenses are inclusive in above prices.

Guide's standard working hours are 8 hours/day between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, but starting/ending time is flexible. Please check my calendar and advise of the days you like using the CONTACT FORM.

If you need my service for multiple days, a 10% discount is applicable to the prices on the 2nd day onwards (except for a solo traveler).

If your tour plan exceeds standard working hours, I add an overtime fee at a rate of Japanese Yen 7,200/hour. But this overtime fee is applicable only in case both parties agree on it at the time of the booking. Even if the actual guiding time exceeded the plan due to traffic jams or congestion, I would not charge the overtime fee.

We do not offer airpot pick-up/drop-off service only, but we can pick you up at the beginning of the tour and drop you off at the end of the tour at airports and/or ports. We will add Yen15,000 (Narita airport), Yen8,000(Haneda airport/Yokohama port) a time. You pay the transportaion expense to downtown Tokyo by yourself.

I provide a Suica card, a prepaid transportation card, to save time to purchase train tickets. You can use it for public transportation (train, subway, bus) in the Tokyo metropolitan district (23 Wards) during my tour. The Suica cards are available only for adults.

Prices include a 10% consumption tax in Japan.

Meeting location: Your hotel lobby in Tokyo unless otherwise agreed.

What's not included: Transportation expenses outside Tokyo metropolitan district (23 Wards), taxi and ferry fares, admission fees to facilities, food & drinks.

Reservations

We do not offer restaurant reservation service. We will book restaurants for our guests as a free service only during the tour or when our guide can join them.

Please understand some restaurnts (famous, Michelin star restaurants, for example) are very difficult to book. You can ask us to book any specific restaurants, but we cannot guarantee if we can make it.

If we make reservations such as restaurants, train tickets, taxi, attractions, or events, etc. and I need to pay for them on your behalf, I will request you to pay for the costs in addition to the deposit. I need to add a 5% extra to cover the charges imposed by the payment service company.

It is illegal to use a private car for a tour guide to give a ride for guests in Japan, so we will hire a taxi when guests want a car. It is an additional expense. The standard size of taxi fare for 4 hours in Tokyo is about Yen28,600 (10% tax included)
