Visit Miyazaki, an ancient province

Though international travel is still impossible due to the Covid-19 pandemic, domestic travel inside Japan is activated by the government's subsidy to the tourism industry. I decided to utilize this promotion and visited the Miyazaki prefecture of Kyushu island, famous as a legendary place. You will find many old shrines for the ancient deities who are believed to be the Japanese imperial family's ancestors. Of course, it is a tradition, and there is no proof at all. Visiting Miyazaki and feeling the region's peaceful atmosphere, I thought it could be possible that our forefathers settled down in this land first and grow crops in the rice field. The picture is Miyazaki Jingu shrine, where Emperor Jinmu, the legendary first emperor, is enshrined.
