Rainy season ends, hot summer starts!

Updated: Mar 15, 2021

Japan's rainy season is usually in June-July for 40 days, but it was longer by ten days, and the total precipitation was much more substantial. We had showers every day in July, even in Tokyo, which is quite rare. We were depressed both by continuous rain and pandemic, but such gloomy season has already finished! On August 1, the Meteorological Agency announced the end of this year's rainy season at last. It means the start of a hot summer! Now the sky is blue, and the temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius. The cicadas started to sing all at once. Nature always remains unchanged and repeats the same workings every year. I want to feel it in my heart and spend an unusual 2020 summer peacefully.
