Expensive or cheap? Looking down the street costs Yen300
The “scramble crossing”, or Barnes Dance in English, in Shibuya has become one of the top tourist spots in Tokyo. A lot of tourists come to Shibuya just to see this crossing. Recently, owner of the building standing at the crossing had a very good idea to make money. He opened a small part of its rooftop to public, from which you can look down the scramble crossing, and charged the guests Yen300 entrance fee per person. When I stopped by, I found all comers except me are foreign tourists. The rooftop seemed to be the most crowded place in that building. This picture is what you can see from the rooftop. Do you like to visit there?
